Customer for +3 years at Flokinet, excellent support, after having tried multiple hosting sites, it was Flokinet who knew how to conquer me, I recommend to all people wishing to join a hosting with unique ethics and respect

A service run by a very angry schoolboy

I worked with this gang for two years, I was engaged in the development and web design of exchange offices, with the aim of selling to the CIS countries. My partner and I have already made several dozen sites on FlokiNet servers, sometimes there were problems with the servers, but generally not critical. We needed hosting for a short period of time, up to a month, and this pleased Flokinet (in other places, tariff plans were for at least a year).

Just two days ago, I had a problem - a broken server that constantly issued Error 503 when trying to enter the site. And the problem was with the server - on another server, too, from FlokiNet, the site worked fine. I wrote to support, and they replaced me with another one, but the problem did not disappear. I followed all the support's recommendations to change the PHP version, but this again did not help. I wrote again, but the founder of this pigsty went berserk and started asking for some kind of license. I found a similar hosting in two hours and did everything on it without any problems. I spoke very nicely in their support, and the poor fellow was offended :((((deleted my profile and went to sob. I do not recommend using this site, you will only lose time.

Broken services, staff that cannot be bothered.

I have used FlokiNET for a while and wish their company did refunds. I would take my money back and run. Their user interface is often broken, the servers are poor and hosting sites with them was a miserable experience. The staff are away on weekends, starting Friday so if something critical happens by Friday, wait until Monday, at least, for the staff to resolve it. Any requests for help to clients are seen as an annoyance and they let you know it. If it was not for Icelandic jurisdiction laws, I would never use this company, ever. If ANY Icelandic provider shows up and offers competent (not great) service, these and most other Icelandic providers would be blown out of the water. Hosting is straightforward, and in a way, it is for FlokiNET ("just give us money and leave us alone").

That ship has sailed. I have opened enough tickets pleading with FlokiNet for the complete basics, such as getting FlokiNet to load pages under a minute, to have domains pointed to your server actually load content, to not get cryptic responses when I open a ticket to not get depressed every time I try to use your service. I lost a lot of money with you, that is tuition paid on the school of willfully bad service. I looked at your Twitter feed and am amazed that you offer Ukraine journalists free hosting. Ukrainians have endured enough with an invasion and they do not need your horrible "service" on top of that. First take care of your paying clients and offer the bare minimum competency before running off and "helping" others. What is the point of being "free speech hosting" if you cannot offer hosting? Clean your house, get thing in order AND THEN help others. I would offer points of improvement, but the willfully bad service is insurmountable. Sabotaging your clients is a petty low.

THEY STOLE MY DOMAIN AND LOCKED ME OUT OF MY EMAILS AND REFUSE TO RESPOND TO ANY OF THE DOZENS OF ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT THEM.

AND BEFORE THEY CLAIM I VIOLATED SOME POLICY, MY DOMAIN WASN'T EVEN FULLY TRANSFERRED TO THEM BEFORE THEY F-ED ME OVER, SO THERE WAS NOTHING TO VIOLATE.

THE CEO IS THEIR ONLY EMPLOYEE AND GETS OFF PRETENDING TO BE SOME PRIVACY EXPERT WHILE HE'S F-ING PEOPLE AND STEALING THEIR LIFE'S WORK.

Very Happy

After making a mistake on first ordering, was quickly refunded and help was given to finding us the right solution.

As mentioned in our ToS, if there was no violation of ToS, refunds can be placed as Account Credit. Refunds in that form are not against our rules.

Great service

The service run fast and is privacy friendly with each person/project.

I had a small problem, accidentally bought a plan thinking it was a cPanel Reseller (but actually it wasn't) and I contacted them on Signal and they solved the problem in a maximum of 10-15 minutes.(ETA).

The ticket support(at WHMCS billing) is not the fastest, they don't answer instantly but if you contact them on Signal, you get a response in at least 2-3 minutes and your problem is solved quickly.

As a hosting/service, it works grrat, with the service I received instant activation with what was in the description/same configuration but I had a confusion is reseller, they credited my account.

Anyone can offer an opinion/express their opinion about a service (it is a human right). but what could you not like about this service? If you want fraud, carding, illegalities, phishing what would you expect? It's normal to suspend you, why would they risk their IPs being listed on SpamHaus's XBLs/RBLs? There is a difference between privacy friendly, offshore (that is, the ISP runs on the respective country's legislation), it is not part of the US (DMCA Ignored), it is not a bulletproof service. Understand the differences between privacyfriendly/offshore and bulletproof. That's not bulletproof, is privacy friendly.

The others who do not recommend this service are 100% competitors.

PS: I am their customer and I can prove this at any time, from what can be seen, they have several ASNs registered with Flokinet (In Romania, Netherlands, Iceland). Enjoy!

Good service

I have been working with this host for the past year and they really are a supporter of free speech as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone and doesn’t imply hate speech. They support NGOs, whistleblowers, independent journalists and many other working for a social cause.
Customer support has been very friendly and supportive!

Support is nonexistent

I really wanted to like this provider because their privacy-friendly philosophy is fantastic and their prices are decent. However, their support turned out to be nonexistent

I opened multiple support tickets 3 days ago with various priorities (including "high"). I did not receive a single reply. I contacted them also through Matrix but did not receive a response.
